Our team was approached to create an outstanding installation for the Sustainable Angle 7th annual exhibition. The event’s space had ceiling-high windows onto the streets. We took this opportunity to realise two projections mapping on the floor and wall, to catch the eye of the visitors.
I enjoyed taking the project from pitch, to storyboards, to execution. Giving a fresh branding to an organisation that is doing important and impactful work for the textile industry. This project allowed me to develop further my knowledge and interest into 3D design and use it as a medium to express my artistic vision. I used the high windows to bring the invisible sustainable stories of different fabrics visible. I made a short movie for the projections including 3 examples : A textile made from mycelium A textile made from algae A natural dyeing technique with low impact on the environment.
